Gödöllő Dormitories
Gödöllő Dormitories are located in the center of MATE Szent Istvan Campus. On the fourth floor of Building B, a continuously operating commercial accommodation is available.
Each room has a double bed and a bathroom with a shower, in addition a small refrigerator. Some rooms have air conditioning. There is a well-equipped shared kitchen on each floor, with 2 electric ovens (each with 4 hobs) and a sink. Kitchen utensils and ingredients must be provided by guests themselves.
There is a buffet on the ground floor of Building B, open from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm on weekdays. Another buffet called Zamat is also available in the dormitory hall, open every day from 11.00 am to 8.00 pm that offers hot meals as well.
There is a 0-24 hours reception service in the dormitories and a security service in the evenings to help to maintain order.

Other information:
The room can be occupied from 2.00 pm and must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Payment of the accommodation fee is due on arrival at reception B, please indicate the need for an invoice upon payment. Please note that we cannot give a refund or credit for the accommodation fee paid. In case of late departure an additional fee of 50% of the current daily room rate will be charged until 2.00 pm, and 100% of the current daily room price will be charged after 2.00 pm. If your booking is for more than one night and you do not show on the first night, the booking will be canceled for the remaining nights. Please always bring your confirmation with you!
Adherence to the Policy is mandatory for all guests, violation may result in the exclusion of the guest.
Current prices:
- Double room for 1 person: br. HUF 12,500 / room / night (includes tourist tax; except for those under 18, residents of Gödöllő and MATE employees).
- Double room for 2 person: br. 14,500 HUF / room / night (includes tourist tax; except for those under 18, residents of Gödöllő and MATE employees).
In case the total amount of the accommodation fee (including tourist tax) exceeds HUF 200,000, signing a contract is required.
Accommodation in Gödöllő
Hotel Queen Elizabeth*** (Erzsébet Királyné Szálloda)
A 3 star hotel in the center of Gödöllő, cca. 20 minutes walk from the university or 2 stops by suburban railway (HÉV).
Rooms are equipped with own shower, hair-dryer, flat screen television, minibar with alcoholic and soft drinks, air-conditioning, excellent wireless-internet possiblity, brand new mattresses and beds. Buffet breakfast is available and there is a restaurant in the building.
Pension Sissi*** (Sissi Panzió)
The 3 star pension is located cca. 30 minutes from the university on foot or 5 minutes to the suburban railway station (HÉV) at Szabadság tér (square) and 2 stops to the university. It has 11 standard (20-26 m2) and 5 superior (32-38 m2) rooms that are equiped with air-conditioning, tv, internet connection, phone, minibar, safe, hairdryer and shower/bath. Buffet breakfast is available and there is a restaurant in the building.
Pension Árnyas (Árnyas Panzió)
Pension/hotel cca. 30 minutes far from the university on foot. The air-conditioned pension has 14 double rooms, 3 family rooms, 4 triple rooms and 2 quadruple rooms that are equipped with a private bathroom, mini fridge and flat screen television. They offer buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi and closed parking. In a shared kitchen cooking and laundry facilities are provided for guests.
